Heartwarming. Inspiring. Moving.
The Dream Ride Experience is the signature fundraising event of The Hometown Foundation, Inc. and –in conjunction with the #DreamRide365 year-round movement – celebrates the achievements of our Dream Riders who are Special Olympics athletes and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities from more than 30 states and three countries. This year’s event will be held August 23 to 25, 2024 and highlights the Dream Riders’ determination and willingness to persevere, overcome challenges, and shatter stereotypes all year long.
The Dream Show – which will be held August 25, 2024 – welcomes hundreds of car owners and enthusiasts from around the world as they converge on the Farmington Polo Club in Farmington, CT. Enter your car into the judged show, which is juried by our world class judging team! Whether it is the rumble of a 427 Cobra or the sleek lines of an E-Type, this 13-class judged show appeals to all enthusiasts!
Once you have submitted your complete application with two photos for the Dream Ride Experience Judged Dream Show, the judging team will review your application to determine approvals. All decisions will be sent via email and outline the next steps in the process.
Cars accepted to the Judged Show are highly encouraged to bring their car to the show tents on Saturday, August 24, 2024 to be set for display for the show on Sunday. The Judged Show will be held exclusively under our show tents in order to protect your vehicle from the elements and overnight security will be provided. If your car is brought on Saturday, you are welcome to enjoy the Saturday event as well as opt to drive a Dream Rider in the Dream Cruise, a 12-mile drive through the picturesque Farmington River Valley.
The Dream Ride Experience Judged Dream Show requires a $150 donation, which includes Saturday and Sunday admission and the option to participate in the Dream Cruise on Saturday.
To receive entry into the Judged Dream Show, all entered cars must be registered and insured. The $150 donation and all information requested by The Hometown Foundation Team must be received within two weeks of acceptance into the show and no later than Friday, August 9, 2024.
